Description
insulated container, made of expanded polypropylene (EPP), is suitable for protecting food from thermal stress thanks to the insulating properties of the expanded polymer, which has a resistivity coefficient (Lambda) of 0.039 W/mk, ensuring thermal drop compliant with the UNI EN 12571:1999 standard.
The polypropylene is expanded with CO2, CFC- and HCFC-free, and contains no residual expansion agents.
Its closed-cell structure provides excellent shock energy dissipation and specific thermal resistance.
Expanded polypropylene has an excellent ecological balance and does not cause harm to the environment, either through production or as a raw material, because: - it is composed primarily of air (depending on its density, it can reach 98% air) and only 2% of pure hydrocarbon structural material.
- it is 100% recyclable and can be recycled in infinite cycles without releasing residues into the environment or losing its chemical or physical properties.
- it is a stable plastic polymer of hydrogen and carbon.
- operating temperature -40 + 120°CThese products have the following certifications obtained from the Parma Food Canning Industry Experimental Station (SSICA): Cold-hot decay Freezing decay At Pack Co Srl: OM6 global migration test.
