Description
isothermal container 120137 made of expanded polypropylene (EPP), is suitable for protecting food from thermal stress thanks to the insulating properties of the expanded polymer, which has a resistivity coefficient (Lambda) of 0.039 W/mk, ensuring thermal drop compliant with the UNI EN 12571:1999 standard.
The polypropylene is expanded with CO2, CFC- and HCFC-free, and contains no residual expansion agents.
Its closed-cell structure provides excellent shock energy dissipation and specific thermal resistance.
Expanded polypropylene has an excellent ecological balance and does not cause environmental damage either through production or as a raw material, because: - it is composed primarily of air (depending on its density, it can reach 98% air) and only 2% of pure hydrocarbon structural material; - it is 100% recyclable and infinitely recyclable without releasing waste into the environment or losing its chemical-physical characteristics; - it is a stable plastic polymer of hydrogen and carbon.
